Karabo Card Project

Just Cards Direct's first community upliftment project is an answer to prayer for ladies from Mamelodi township, South Africa. Mamelodi is home to 1.5 million people, of which a large percentage are underpriveleged and 25% have HIV.

Karabo Card Project produces unique, handmade cards of high quality. Our creative designs incorporate recycled paper, beads and fizzy drinks cans – so we clean up the environment too!

Karabo in the local Pedi language means 'answer'. This project is not only about producing cards and job creation. It is about a community of believers sharing their lives and supporting each other through prayer and encouragement. Our vision is to reach out to the local community with the love of God. We hope to establish further projects and bring justice, dignity and hope to the disadvantaged.

We sell our cards throughout South Africa and also worldwide through Just Cards Direct.
